Zattoo – TV at work. Brilliant.
Next time you are bored at work and really can’t face missing another episode of Home and Away, check this out: http://www.zattoo.com – It’s a free application you can download (Windows and Mac) and stream all the major UK channels, plus some interesting global ones, straight to your desktop.
Free TV on your PC or Mac
The quality is great (some of the UK channels are actually full broadcast quality right now, but I think this is temporary) and I haven’t seen and stuttering or freezing (so far). It’s totally free and they even claim it is fully legal. I did some research and nobody is trying to shut them down, so I guess it must be OK!
I came across this when I was at work the other day and Man Utd were in Japan playing in the ‘World Club Cup’. It was shown live in Channel 5 and a quick Google search lead me to Zattoo. 2 minutes later I was watching the game while pretending to get some work done. Awesome.
