UK Reseller Hosting Comparison

At the moment I have active reseller accounts with 4 of the UK’s biggest web hosts. To be honest, I’m not really totally happy with any of them and I’m still on the lookout for better options, but finding genuine reviews on the net seems to be a nightmare, so I thought I’d write up a little comparison for you.

I guess I’m still looking for the ‘perfect’ reseller account, so if you have ideas please feel free to let me know. (I need somewhere to keep 200+ domains and 120+ active sites).

Link swaps - not what they used to be

Hmmmm…. It might be time to change your search engine marketing plans. I’ve just read an interesting article about some changes to the way Google handles reciprocal links.

It turns out that all that time you have spent writing to relevant sites asking for a 2 way link swap may have been wasted as Google now marks you down if you have links going both ways, because it realises that these links have been manufactured purely for the benefit of SE rankings and therefore presumes that your content must be rubbish. Sony Ericisson K850i keeps switching off

My K850i keeps switching itself off and/or rebooting the whole time. It’s pretty damn annoying and it looks like I’m not the only person with this problem. A quick Google search shows that this might be a big thing.

If I fnd a fix I’ll let you know. Otherwise there will be a pretty expensive brick for sale on eBay shortly - any bids?

The LG KU990 Viewty - fun but annoying

Stills cam - 5MP but you wouldn’t know, pics are pretty average.

Video cam - super slow motion setting is awesome, the first 5 times you do it. Then it’s a little annoying. Normal video is noisy. More »
